Wake up to a delicious on-board Breakfast as you arrive at the Pink City, Jaipur. To take a closer look at the history of Jaipur, guests visit the ancient Amber Fort which is known for its artistic Hindu style elements. Maharajas' Express is a leader in cultural tourism and we ensure that our guests don't miss the cultural essence of our country. After visiting Amber fort guests proceed to City Palace/Jai Mahal Palace for exclusive Elephant activities where guests may choose to decorate them with bright hues, feed them or take the regal ride. This is followed by lunch on Culture tours India.

Day 03 : Ranthambore - Fatehpur Sikri

The world's leading luxury train arrives at Sawai Madhopur and guests proceed for an exciting Game Drive at Ranthambore National Park. The shimmering greens of Ranthambore are included in all our pan-Indian itineraries. Guests can then return to the stately comforts of Maharajas' Express. After an on board breakfast the Maharajas' express departs for the ancient Mughal capital, Fatehpur Sikri. Guests can have lunch on Board as they arrive in Fatehpur Sikri. Guests can closely explore the deserted city, an important part of luxury odyssey India, Fatehpur Sikri where once the Mughal emperor, Akbar ruled. Guests later return to the comforts of the Maharajas' Express for an on-board Dinner. The train leaves for another alluring city in Maharjas' Indian culture tours, Agra.

Day 04 : Agra - Gwalior

Guests Arrive in Agra and continue their Indian luxury odyssey with visit to the monumental symbol of love, the Taj Mahal, a marquee destination of Indian Culture Tourism.
Guests can enjoy a princely Champagne Breakfast atop Taj Khema and later return to the comforts of Maharajas' Express.
Maharajas' Express then proceeds for Gwalior, a new destination in our mesmerizing Indian culture tours.
Guests can enjoy an on-board lunch and then proceed to visit to Gwalior Fort, Saas Bahu Temple and Jain Cave Sculptures or they can also choose to avail spa facilities at Usha Kiran Palace Hotel.

Day 07 : Lucknow

Guests start their day with an on-board breakfast.
Guests proceed to visit Bara Imambara, ChotaImambara, Rumi Darwaza and The Residency followed by delicious Awadhi lunch along with the live Kathak Dance performance at Vivanta by taj.
Taj. We believe catering everything with extravagance in our Indian luxury odyssey. Guests later return to the comforts of Maharajas' Express and enjoy an "Indian Evening" followed by dinner on-board. Then Maharajas' Express leaves for Delhi, marking the end of it's Indian culture tour.

Day 01 : Delhi - Agra

The Day 1 begins with a grand welcome at Safdarjung Railway Station, Delhi. Check-in formalities are also carried at Railway station as passengers enter the Indian Maharaja Express Rajasthan.

Guests can treat themselves to a sumptuous dinner on the on-board restaurants- Rang Mahal and Mayur Mahal. These two restaurants are thematically designed to give the ambience of royal eatery and serve dishes from all kinds of global cuisine which makes them indispensable to Maharaja Express tour Rajasthan.
Spend your night in the comforts of the palatial train and open your eyes to the alluring city of Agra on the Maharajas' Express.

Day 02 : Agra

Day 2 begins with arrival in the city of flavors, marvelous architecture and the land of rich history, Agra. Guests begin their Agra luxury tour by visiting the Taj Mahal; an icon of love and epitaph of famous Mughal queen, Mumtaz.
After visiting the Taj Mahal, guests can proceed for Champagne breakfast atop Taj Khema.
Post-breakfast guests can either return to comforts of Maharajas' Express or visit the Mausoleum of Itmad-ud-Daula which is popularly described as "jewel box" or visit the ancient Mughal capital, Fatehpur Sikri as an optional activity.

Begin your third day with Maharajas' Express at Sawai Madhopur and proceed for an adventurous game Drive at Ranthambore National Park where you may even find the majestic Tiger crouching in the shimmering greens.
Return to the comforts of Maharajas' Express and treat yourself with a regal on board breakfast in a royal ambience.
Maharajas' Express, a leading name in Indian tourism, then departs for Jaipur; guests can enjoy a sumptuous lunch On Board.
Arrive at the Pink City or Jaipur . Guests can proceed to visit Observatory, world's largest sun dial which is colloquially known as Jantar Mantar or they can also choose the optional activities such as Spa facilities at a 5 Star hotel or an exclusive private shopping tour.

Day 04 : Bikaner

Enjoy an onboard breakfast in Maharajas' Express, an established name in Indian tourism. Besides luxury you also get a taste of Indian essence. The 4th day begins with arrival at Bikaner, the ancient city which was named after the king, Rao Bika in 1488.

Once the guests arrive in Bikaner they can choose to relax on-board or may choose from optional activities such as visit to the Lalgarh Museum or Deshnok, the ancient rat temple. After a lavish on-board lunch and then proceed to visit Junagarh Fort.
From Junagarh Fort proceed for breathtakingly beautiful sundowners at the Sand Dunes. En-route a tea break awaits our guests at Gajner Palace.

Later return to the comforts of the Maharajas' Express.
Train leaves for Jodhpur and guests spend overnight on the train.

Day 05 : Jodhpur

Have an on-board breakfast as you arrive into Jodhpur. Spend the morning leisurely on-board or guests can also choose to go for the optional tour to Bishnoi village (only if time permits) or may choose from

Guests can then proceed to visit the Amber Fort or may also choose other optional activities such as Spa facilities at a 5 star hotel or a blissful session of private shopping tour or an exciting visit to City Palace and the Observatory (locally known as Jantar Mantar). Reservation / Cancellation - Terms & Conditions

Booking Policy :

  • 25% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
  • Remaining 75% of ticket value 75 days prior to departure.

Penalty Clause :

  • Deduction on discount 0.5% of the balance amount shell be paid if payment is made between 30 to 59 days prior to departure.
  • Deduction on discount 0.75% of the balance payment shall be paid if payment is made between 0 to 29 days prior to departure.

For USD bookings : The payable amount in INR should be credited in our account as per the rate of exchange (ROE) of the previous day of the date (www.rbi.org.in) of transferring the amount by the agent.

Cancellation Policy :

  • 25% of ticket value 60 days or more prior to departure.
  • 50% of ticket value between 45 to 59 days prior to departure.
  • 100% of ticket value 44 or less days prior to the departure.

Child Policy

A) For Deluxe/Jr.Suite/Suite Cabins

  • Children below 5 years shall be allowed free, subject to sharing of double bed with parents. This is subject to availability of double bed at the time of booking.
  • Single child (5 years - 12 years) sharing cabin with adults - 50% of the adult fare, subject to sharing of double bed with two full paid adults.This is subject to availability of double bed at the time of booking.
    OR Single child (5 years - 12 years) in a separate cabin -50% of the(adult fare + Supplement charges) if requested in a separate cabin.
  • Two child (5 years - 12 years) in a separate cabin - 50% of the adult fare for each child in a separate cabin on twin sharing basis.
  • Three child (5 years - 12 years) in a separate cabin - 50% of the adult fare for each child subject to sharing of double bed.
    OR If third child request in a separate cabin - 50% of the (adult fare + Supplement charges).
  • Single child (5 years - 12 years) + one adult in a separate cabin:- Two adults fare on twin sharing basis.
  • Two child (5 years - 12 years) + one adult in a separate cabin:- One adult fare plus 50% of the adult fare for each child subject to sharing of double bed.

B) For Presidential Suite Cabin

  • Children below 5 years shall be allowed free, subject to sharing of double bed in PS.
  • Single child (5 years - 12 years) sharing cabin with adults - 50% of the adult fare, subject to sharing with two/three/four full paid adults in PS.
  • Two child(5 years - 12 years) in a separate cabin - 50% of the adult fare for each child in a separate sub cabin on twin sharing basis subject to sharing with two full paid adults in PS.
  • Three child (5 years - 12 years) in a separate cabin - 50% of the adult fare for each child subject to sharing of with two/three full paid adults in PS.
  • Single child (5 years - 12 years) + one adult in a separate cabin:- Two adults fare on twin sharing basis in PS.
  • Two child (5 years - 12 years) + one adult in a separate cabin:- 50% of the adult fare for each child subject to sharing with one full paid adult.

No show/ En route termination of tour/amendment :

  • No Show - In case of No Show / Non-arrival of the guest, no refund or adjustment in future travel will be possible. The whole amount shall be treated as forfeited.
  • En route termination of tour - In case of termination of tour by the guest, for any reasons, no refund or adjustment for future travel will be possible. The amount for unused portion of the tour shall be treated as forfeited.
  • Amendment - Is only possible under the circumstances like Natural Disaster / Natural Calamity or Serious Health Problem's (this needs to be supported by doctor's certificate) and is subject to availability. No refunds are possible and every case will be decided on merits on a case to case basis. No amendment will be permissible in case of booking of groups or complete train.

Ellora

Ellora is one of the highly visited World heritage sites of India.
Just 30 kms Northwest of Aurangabad, Ellora is easily accessible from the nearby major towns. It houses 34 monasteries and temples with some exclusive uninterrupted sequence of monuments that date back from 600 to 1000 AD. The temples of Ellora are dedicated to Brahmanism, Jainism, and Buddhism. It also has some of the excellent stonework depicting the legends related to Lord Shiva.

Sawai Madhopur - The Feline Bounty

After the exquisite palanquins and architectural landmarks, the perfect place to experience the other side of the royal charm is Sawai Madhopur. Named after its king, Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I, this place is in close proximity to the famous Ranthambore National Park.

The wilderness of Ranthambore envelopes an aura around you to explore the land of the majestic tiger. This wildlife park is home to various species of animals but the ones that capture most attention are the graceful tigers. The time spent at the National Park is full of adventure, exploration and wonder. Amidst the forest, are the ruins of the ancient fort from the tenth century and the heroic tales associated with it fill you with admiration.

Jaipur - The Pink City

Jaipur's past is never too far from hand. The city of victory, Jaipur presides over the fascinating desert state and its people: surrounded by rugged hills, each crowned by a formidable fort; and beautiful palaces, mansions and gardens dotted throughout its precincts.

The palaces and forts of yesteryear that were witness to royal processions and splendour are now living monuments, accepted quite naturally into the lifestyles of the people of the "pink city". Except for the busy traffic of bicycles, cars and buses, little seems to have changed. There is a timeless quality to Jaipur's bazaars and its people. With its historical past, Jaipur revives legends of the ancient Rajputs. The dresses of the women and the turbans of the men add colour to this fascinating city.

Udaipur - Picturesque Royalty

The land of marvellous beauty, Udaipur is named after the dynamic ruler of this princely state, Rana Udai Singh. The scenic beauty of Udaipur has earned it various titles in superlatives. This City of Lakes has a long glorious history and is also considered as the romance city of Rajasthan with endless love sagas of its rulers.

Jag Niwas, the City Palace, one of the largest palaces in India, is an interesting blend of Rajput architecture and Mughal interiors that carve this fortress as a distinctive structure. The palace also homes a well-maintained museum that upkeeps the armoury, costumes and other belongings of its rulers. The other captive interests in the mystic land are the Lake Palace, the Jag Mandir and numerous other forts and temples. A stunning masterpiece, Sahelion ki Bari also known as the 'Garden of Maidens' is a true delight to experience. Udaipur is a shopper's paradise and has fine marble mementoes, miniature paintings and handicraft items. There are other exquisite attractions like the ballads and compositions woven in melody by artists in traditional Rajasthani style. Overall, the excursion to this overwhelming city is a true delight.

Delhi - India's capital

A major gateway to the country, contemporary Delhi is a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its folds - the ancient with the modern. Amidst the fast spiraling skyscrapers the remnants of a bygone time in the form of its many monuments stand as silent reminders to the region's ancient legacy. The first impressions for any visitor traveling in from the airport are of a specious, garden city, tree-lined with a number of beautiful parks.

You will first visit Old Delhi. The tour will begin with a visit to Raj Ghat, a simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi; drive past the Red Fort – a world heritage site, continuing to the Jama Masjid, It is the largest mosque in India, accommodating up to 25,000 worshippers at one time.

The tour to Imperial Delhi will include a visit to the Qutub Minar, the tallest stone tower in India. Qutub-ud-din Aibak started it in 1199. Pulling down 27 Hindu and Jain temples and using their columns erected the attached Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque also built by him. The tour also includes a photo stop at the imposing India Gate, the Parliament building and the Rastrapathi Bhawan, the President's residence

Agra - The city of Taj

Agra is located on the banks of river Yamuna and was established in 1504 by the then ruler of Delhi, Sultan Sikandar Lodi. The medieval era city, Agra is a witness of the rise and fall of numerous dynasties. The city is home to the gem of finest architectural monument, Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal, is the mausoleum that reminiscences of the love shared between Shah Jahan, the king for his beloved queen Mumtaz after her demise. This white-marble-wonder expands on the design traditions of Persians and Mughals and is one of the most visited sites in India. After a heartfelt visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, you'll be ushered to the Lal Quila or the Red Fort of Agra. This fort is also called the Palatial City because of its enormous size. The fort was the largest state treasury and welcomed ambassadors from other princely states.
